American Bicyclist Update

New Book on City Cycling
If you’re a cycling advocate or engineer you know the names John Pucher and Ralph Buehler. The transportation researchers from Rutgers University and Virginia Tech respectively have published extensively on bicycle issues – and MIT Press will soon publish their new book, “City Cycling.” The 365-page resource is “a guide to [the] urban cycling renaissance, with the goal of promoting cycling as sustainable urban transportation available to everyone” and Amazon is offering a $10 discount (just $18!) for anyone who pre-orders the book.
